Sports Content & Videography Intern

Are you the person who always has a camera in hand? Do you love capturing action, telling stories through video, and designing scroll-stopping graphics? Do you want to build a killer portfolio while learning marketing from the ground up?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Content & Videography Intern to join the Sadili team. Your office will be the pitch, the court, and the community events. You will work alongside and receive direct mentorship from the owner of Sadili.

About the Role:

This role is for a visual storyteller with a passion for videography and content creation. You will capture the sweat, the goals, the celebration, and the community spirit that makes Sadili special—both in photos and video. You'll also help design marketing materials using Canva.

Double Perk: If you have advanced Canva skills (or are eager to learn), this is a massive advantage—you'll help create social media templates, flyers, proposals, and branded graphics that make Sadili look professional and polished.

What You'll Do (with support from the owner and videographer):

• Shoot and edit short-form video content (reels, stories, highlight clips) for social media during tournaments, youth camps, community days, and daily training sessions.
• Capture high-quality still photos to build a visual content library.
• Use Canva to design social media templates, event flyers, program brochures, and client proposal graphics.
• Appear on camera for occasional social media content (the videographer assists with filming).
• Write social media captions, client follow-up messages, and program descriptions to accompany your content.
• Support event planning efforts (tournaments, community days, youth camps) — a strong perk if you have this skill.
• Help with scheduling posts, responding to comments, and tracking basic engagement.

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine love for videography and photography and a desire to build a professional portfolio.
• Experience or strong interest in video editing (even if self-taught—we want to see your style).
• Advanced Canva skills are a DOUBLE PERK — if you can design sleek graphics, templates, and marketing materials, you jump to the front of the line.
• Comfortable behind a camera and confident enough to direct people for the perfect shot or clip.
• Not camera shy (you'll appear in some content too).
• Great phone manner and ability to talk confidently with new clients.
• Interest in sports, youth development, or community building.

What You'll Learn (with mentorship from the owner):

• How to use visual storytelling for sports marketing (video + photo).
• Video editing best practices for social media platforms.
• Graphic design for marketing using Canva (advanced tips and templates).
• Client communication and phone sales etiquette.
• Writing for marketing (social media, emails, proposals).
• Event planning fundamentals (logistics, coordination, promotion).
• Real-world sports marketing and business operations.

• Optional but highly encouraged: Attach or link to 1–2 examples of Canva designs you've created (flyers, social posts, presentations, etc.) — this will make you stand out immediately.

Location: Sadili Oval, Nairobi

Commitment: 3–6 months, full-time

This internship offers a small stipend + performance bonuses (e.g., commission on hotel bookings).
